Remington College-Columbia Campus Offers Complimentary Haircuts for Kids
Cuts for Kids event provides two weeks of complimentary
back-to-school haircuts starting August 2
Columbia, S.C. – (July 12, 2010) – Remington College Columbia Campus will offer complimentary back-to-school haircuts for children this summer. The Cuts for Kids event will begin on Monday, August 2, and run for two weeks.
Parents can bring in children ages 17 and under for a complimentary haircut provided by instructors and students in the Remington College-Columbia Campus cosmetology school.
“Back to school expenses can really add up,” said Toby Hayes, Remington College-Columbia Campus President. “Cuts for Kids is a way for us to help parents save some money and help kids look and feel their best when they go back to school.”
The Cuts for Kids event runs from Monday, August 2 through Friday, August 13. Parents can make appointments by calling The Salon at Remington at 803-214-9090 or just walk in. The salon hours are Monday-Friday from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.
Adults who bring a child in for Cuts for Kids will get 50 percent off select services for themselves, including haircuts, styling and nail care. Contact The Salon at Remington for details.
The Remington College Cosmetology Program teaches students the art of hair, skin and nail care through traditional classroom instruction and hands-on training. Students have the opportunity to work with real clients in a salon setting.
The Salon at Remington is located at 607 Bush River Road in Columbia.
