Remington College-Nashville Campus Offers Complimentary Haircuts for Kids
Cuts for Kids event provides two weeks of complimentary
back-to-school haircuts starting August 2
Nashville, Tenn. – (July 5, 2010) – Remington College-Nashville Campus will offer complimentary back-to-school haircuts for children this summer. The Cuts for Kids event will begin on Monday, August 2, and run for two weeks.
Parents can bring in children ages 17 and under for a complimentary haircut provided by instructors and students in the Remington College-Nashville Campus cosmetology school.
Last year the campus provided more than 200 complimentary haircuts during the event.
“Back to school expenses can really add up,” said Larry Collins, Remington College-Nashville Campus President. “Cuts for Kids is a way for us to help parents save some money and help kids look and feel their best when they go back to school.”
The Cuts for Kids event runs from Monday, August 2 through Saturday, August 14. Parents can make appointments by calling The Student Salon at Remington College at 615-493-9390 or just walk in. The salon hours are Tuesday-Saturday from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm.
Adults who bring a child in for Cuts for Kids will get 50 percent off select services for themselves, including haircuts, styling and nail care. Contact The Student Salon at Remington College for details.
The Remington College Cosmetology Program teaches students the art of hair, skin and nail care through traditional classroom instruction and hands-on training. Students have the opportunity to work with real clients in a salon setting.
The Student Salon at Remington College is located at 441 Donelson Pike, Suite 150 in Nashville.
