Remington College-Dallas Campus and Remington College-Fort Worth Campus Offers Complimentary Haircuts for Kids
Cuts for Kids event provides two weeks of complimentary
back-to-school haircuts starting August 9
Dallas, Texas – (July 20, 2010) – Remington College-Dallas Campus and Remington College-Fort Worth Campus will offer complimentary back-to-school haircuts for children this summer. The Cuts for Kids event will begin on Monday, August 9 and run for two weeks.
Parents can bring in children ages 17 and under for a complimentary haircut provided by instructors and students in the Remington College cosmetology schools.
Last year the campuses combined to provide 365 complimentary haircuts during the event.
“Back to school expenses can really add up,” said Skip Walls, Remington College-Dallas Campus President. “Cuts for Kids is a way for us to help parents save some money and help kids look and feel their best when they go back to school.”
The Cuts for Kids event runs from Monday, August 9 through Saturday, August 21.
For the Dallas campus, parents can make appointments by calling The Salon at Remington at 972-698-3890 or just walk in. The salon hours are Tuesday-Saturday from 9:30 am to 2:00 pm.
For the Fort Worth campus, parents can make appointments by calling The Salon at Remington at 817-880-0090 or just walk in. The salon hours are Tuesday-Saturday from 9:30 am to 3:00 pm.
Adults who bring a child in for Cuts for Kids will get 50 percent off select services for themselves, including haircuts, styling and nail care. Contact The Salon at Remington for details.
The Remington College Cosmetology Program teaches students the art of hair, skin and nail care through traditional classroom instruction and hands-on training. Students have the opportunity to work with real clients in a salon setting.
The Salon at Remington College on the Dallas Campus is located at 1640 Eastgate Dr. in Garland.
The Salon at Remington College on the Fort Worth Campus is located at 300 East Loop 820 in Fort Worth.
