Remington College Campuses in Houston Offer Complimentary Haircuts for Kids
Cuts for Kids event provides two weeks of complimentary
back-to-school haircuts starting August 9
Houston, Texas – (July 20, 2010) – All three Remington College campuses in Houston will offer complimentary back-to-school haircuts for children this summer. The popular Cuts for Kids event will begin on Monday, August 9 and run for two weeks.
Parents can bring in children ages 17 and under for a complimentary haircut provided by instructors and students in the Remington College Cosmetology Program.
Last year the campuses provided more than 500 complimentary haircuts during the event.
“Back to school expenses can really add up,” said LaShundia Brooks, Remington College-Houston Campus President. “Cuts for Kids is a way for us to help parents save some money and help kids look and feel their best when they go back to school.”
The Cuts for Kids event runs from Monday, August 9 through Friday, August 20.
In the North Houston area: Parents can make appointments by calling the Remington College-North Houston Campus at 281-885-4490 or just walk in. The salon is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
In the Westchase area: Parents can make appointments by calling the Remington College-Houston Campus at 281-597-1000 or just walk in. The salon is open Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
In the Webster area: Parents can make appointments by calling the Remington College-Houston Southeast Campus at 281-554-1790 or just walk in. The salon is open Tuesday through Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Adults who bring a child in for Cuts for Kids will get 50 percent off select services for themselves, including haircuts, styling and nail care. Contact the salon for details.
The Remington College Cosmetology Program teaches students the art of hair, skin and nail care through traditional classroom instruction and hands-on training. Students have the opportunity to work with real clients in a salon setting.
