Remington College-Shreveport Campus Holds African-American Read-In

African-American authors honored as part of Black History Month

Shreveport, La. – (February 14, 2011) – Remington College-Shreveport Campus will hold its first annual African-American Read-In on February 28 from 1:30 – 3:30 pm.

The event is being held as part of Black History Month.

There will be selected readings from the works of African-American writers, both professional and novice.

The public is invited to attend and there is no charge.

The event will be held in the Hamilton/South Caddo Library, located at 2111 Bert Kouns Industrial Loop.
