Remington College-Columbia Campus Offers Complimentary Salon Services for Students Headed to Prom
“Prom Night Makeover” allows students to look their best
Columbia, S.C. – (April 14, 2011) – High school students want to look their best on prom night, but not everyone can afford the cost of a trip to the salon. That’s why Remington College-Columbia Campus is offering complimentary salon services for local high school students.
The event is called Prom Night Makeover. Staff and students in the Remington College Cosmetology Program are offering several complimentary services, including:
- Haircuts
- Updos
- Manicures
- Pedicures
- Makeup
High school students in the Columbia area can visit The Salon at Remington, located at the Remington College-Columbia Campus from Thursday, April 28 through Saturday, April 30. Appointments are recommended and can be made by calling 803-214-9090.
“All students deserve to have a memorable prom night, and we’re happy to donate our services to make sure they look and feel their best,” said Toby Hayes, Remington College-Columbia Campus President.
Remington College’s Cosmetology program teaches students the art of hair, skin and nail care through traditional classroom instruction and hands-on training in the Remington College School of Cosmetology, which allows students to work with real clients.
All Prom Night Makeover services will be done in the Cosmetology Department on the Remington College-Columbia Campus, located at 607 Bush River Road.
