Remington College-Nashville Campus Holds National Night Out Event
Event to focus on community safety and family activities
Nashville, Tenn. – (July 19, 2011) – Remington College-Nashville Campus will hold a National Night Out event featuring safety, educational and fun activities for families.
The event will be held on Tuesday, August 2 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. The event is free and the community is invited to participate.
National Night Out started nearly three decades ago to build partnerships between communities and police to fight crime and promote safety. The annual event provides families a variety of fun and interactive activities while also building safety awareness and strengthening anti-crime initiatives.
Activities will include:
- Fundraiser for Mending Hearts
- Bone Marrow drive
- Visits with local law enforcement, fire and medical workers
- Face-painting
- Safety identification for children
