Remington College-Nashville Campus Celebrates National Night Out on August 7
Community invited out for family activities, job fair and blood drive
Nashville, Tenn. – (July 10, 2012) - Remington College-Nashville Campus will hold a National Night Out event featuring safety, educational and fun activities for families as well as a job fair and a blood drive.
The National Night Out activities will be held on Tuesday, August 7 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. The event is free and the community is invited to participate.
National Night Out started nearly three decades ago to build partnerships between communities and police to fight crime and promote safety. The annual event provides families a variety of fun and interactive activities while also building safety awareness and strengthening anti-crime initiatives.
Activities will include:
- A job fair featuring local employers
- A 3 Lives blood drive, an effort to recruit minority blood donors. All blood collected will be used in the local community
- Visits with local law enforcement, fire and medical workers
- Face-painting
- Safety identification for children
