Remington College-Shreveport Campus Holds African American Read-In on Thursday, February 21

African-American authors honored as part of Black History Month

Shreveport, La. – (February 7, 2013) – Remington College-Shreveport Campus will hold an African American Read-In on Thursday, February 21 from 1:30 – 2:30 pm.The event is being held as part of Black History Month. Speakers include local authors Shelia Goss and Sheila Jackson, and Dr. Bernard Kimble from the Mt. Olive Baptist Church. The event will also include a performance by the Mahogany Ensemble Theatre.

The public is invited to attend and there is no charge.

The event will be held at the Hamilton/South Caddo Library, located at 2111 Bert Kouns Industrial Loop.
