Remington College-Houston Southeast Campus Holds Mega-Makeover for Texas City High School Girls
Select Students to Receive Salon Services for Prom Night
Webster, Tx. – (May 2009) – Remington College-Houston Southeast Campus is partnering with Texas City High School to provide free salon services for some students who might not be able to afford such pampering on prom night.
Remington College-Houston Southeast Campus cosmetology students and instructors are donating their services this Saturday, May 23. The event is called “Prom Night Makeover”. Nineteen students were selected by Texas City High School counselors, based on need. The campus will provide hair styling, manicures and makeup at the Salon at Remington.
“This will be our third prom night event this year,” said Robert Doty, Remington College-Houston Southeast Campus President. “The smiles on the students’ faces make it all worthwhile.”
Remington College’s Cosmetology program teaches students the art of hair, skin and nail care through traditional classroom instruction and hands-on training in “The Salon at Remington”, which allows students to work with real clients.
Student appointments will be scheduled during salon hours from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
All the makeovers will be done in The Salon at Remington on Remington College’s Houston Southeast Campus, located at 20985 Interstate 45 South in Webster.
