Remington College Lafayette Campus Hosts Free Car Seat Safety Event
Parents can make sure their children’s car seats are properly installed at June 14th event
Lafayette, La. – (June 7, 2017) – Remington College Lafayette Campus is proud to partner with the Louisiana State Police and the Louisiana Passenger Safety Task Force to hold a car seat safety event.
Parents can get a free inspection from Louisiana State Troopers to make sure their children’s car seats are properly installed, and that children are in the correct type of seat.
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, “your child’s safety could be in jeopardy if your car seat is not installed correctly.”
Parents are invited to get a free car seat checkup at the event, which will take place on Wednesday, June 14 from 2-4 pm on the Remington College Lafayette Campus.
Remington College students will provide activities for kids during the event.
