Remington College Shreveport Campus Hosts National Night Out Event and Celebrates 10th Anniversary on Tuesday, October 3
Community invited to take part in family-friendly activities and meet first responders
Shreveport, La. – (September 5, 2017) – It’s a milestone year for Remington College Shreveport Campus – it’s celebrating 10 years in operation. Campus president, Jerry Driskill, invites the community to come help them celebrate during a National Night Out event.
The event, featuring local law enforcement agencies, safety information and activities for families, will be held on Tuesday, October 3 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. It’s free to attend.
“We host the National Night Out event every year,” says campus president Driskill. “This year we also want to thank the community for its support during our first 10 years. “
National Night Out started more than three decades ago to build partnerships between communities and police to fight crime and promote safety. The annual event provides families a variety of fun and interactive activities while also building safety awareness and strengthening anti-crime initiatives.
“We always have a large crowd attend,” says Driskill. “This year, because it’s our 10thAnniversary year, we want to really make sure folks have a wonderful night out with others from the community.”
