Remington College School of Dental Hygiene Celebrates National Dental Hygiene Month

All treatments are half-off in October

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Sept. 13, 2017) – Remington College Nashville Campus is celebrating National Dental Hygiene Month in October by offering 50% off any treatment in the campus Dental Hygiene Clinic.
National Dental Hygiene Month recognizes the important job that dental hygienists do and reminds the public about the importance of maintaining good oral health habits.
Remington College’s Dental Hygiene Program offers a variety of dental services, including teeth cleanings, fluoride treatments and x-rays. Initial registration is just $1 and the cost of treatments is greatly reduced; an adult teeth cleaning is just $10 for adults and $5 for kids – and half that during the month of October.1
In the past seven years, more than 30,000 low or no cost dental services have been provided through Remington College’s Dental Hygiene Program in Nashville.
Under the supervision of instructors, students pursuing associate’s degrees in dental hygiene perform low-cost procedures for the public, including:
  • Oral prophylaxis (cleaning) and topical fluoride treatments
  • X-rays
  • Scaling and root planing
  • ToothPrint child identification impressions
  • Oral cancer screenings
  • Dental Sealants
Appointments can be made by calling 615-493-9398.
The clinic is on the Remington College Nashville Campus, located at 441 Donelson Pike, Suite 150.
The Remington College Dental Hygiene Program can be completed in as few as 24-months and is an accredited program designed to help prepare students for careers as dental hygienists.2 Instructors have real world experience in the dental hygiene field, and course offerings include Preclinical Dental Hygiene Practice, Oral and Dental Anatomy, Nutrition and Biochemistry, and Oral Radiology. (1)Available through October 31, 2017. First come, first serve. Appointments are recommended. Cannot be combined with any other offer. Patient must have exam before cleanings, treatments or sealant application. Exam is at no charge. There are other applicable fees for other exams, any and all x-rays, and other services, that will be charged if the dentist/student warrants them necessary as part of the exam and diagnosis. These x-rays, exams, and other services are not a part of any of the discounted cleanings; therefore, the price on these other applicable fees will not be discounted. Sealants can only be placed after the approval of the Supervising dentist. If a tooth has decay, it is not a candidate for sealants.
