Columbia, S.C. – (October 30, 2017) – Remington College is reaching out to the community by offering free salon services through its Cosmetology program.

Veterans Day is November 11, but during the whole month, veterans can get a free service at the Columbia campus salon. This includes a haircut, shampoo & set thermal style, makeup application or facial.

“It’s one way we can express our gratitude for service,” explains Patsy Moore, campus President.

Remington College is also working to help stock the shelves of local pantries just in time for the holiday season. Anyone can bring in a can of food or other non-perishable food item to receive a free haircut, manicure or pedicure. The donation drive runs throughout the month of November as well.

Both offers are available until November 30, 2017. One offer per visit and offers cannot be combined.

The Salon at Remington prefers customers call ahead to make an appointment; just like they would at his or her regular salon, but walk-ins are welcome. To schedule an appointment, call 803-214-9062.

The Remington College Cosmetology program teaches students the art of hair, skin and nail care through traditional classroom instruction and hands-on training in The Salon at Remington, which allows students to work with real clients.
