Lafayette Campus Organizes Community Resource Event
What: Remington College Lafayette Campus is working to help the community get access to important resources, such as health insurance, literacy programs, substance abuse treatment, family resources, and child development.
Many times, people don’t know what kind of assistance is available. Sometimes, they may not even know where to find the information. This event aims to provide key resources in one location at the same time.
The Student Resource Fair is open and free to anyone in the Lafayette area.
Some of the local organizations and groups planning to attend include: VITA, Louisiana Healthcare Connections, Region 4 Office of Public Health, Methodist Foster Care, Families Helping Families/Early Steps, Goodwill Industries of Acadiana, The Knowledge Effect, the Extra Mile, Shoulders of Strength and Hearts of Hope. Representatives from each group will be on campus meeting with members of the community to get them connected to services available.
Remington College Lafayette Campus offers degree programs in Business Administration, Computer and Network Administration, Criminal Justice, Cosmetology, Electronic Technology, Medical Assisting, Medical Billing and Coding and Pharmacy Technician.
