Prospective students will have the opportunity to tour labs, chat with instructors, and see demonstrations from hands- on training programs.
The Process Technology Associate’s Degree at Remington College Baton Rouge can be completed in as few as 18 months1 and the program coursework is based on the curriculum that is approved by the North American Process Technology Alliance. Manufacturing, production and processing plants need to employ skilled journeymen and women to monitor, control, and troubleshoot instrumentation boards, pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, controls, alarms and similar specialized equipment to ensure they’re operating efficiently and safely. The program is designed to help prepare students for entry-level jobs in their chosen field.2
In addition to instruction, Remington College also has a Career Services department that provides help with résumés, preparing for job interviews and information on local companies looking to hire.
