Remington College Nashville Campus Hosts Open House & 3 Lives Blood Drive

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – (January 9, 2018) – It’s a new year and Remington College Nashville wants to help change lives. So it’s kicking off the New Year with an Open House and Blood Drive.
The Open House and 3 Lives Blood Drive will be held on Wednesday, January 24 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the Remington College Nashville Campus.
The public is invited to participate in the blood drive and learn more about the educational programs offered by the campus. The Nashville campus is an accredited college, and programs include Associate degrees in Criminal Justice and Dental Hygiene, as well as Diploma Programs in Medical Assisting, Dental Assisting, and Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning. While at campus the public will have the opportunity to tour labs, chat with instructors and see demonstrations from Remington College’s hands-on training programs.
Remington College created the 3 Lives campaign to recruit new minority blood donors and raise awareness of blood disorders. Minority donors – particularly African American donors – are in high demand because they provide blood with unique antigens that are vital for patients with sickle cell disease and other blood disorders.
Donors must be 17 years of age or older and weigh a minimum of 110 pounds. All the blood collected will go to local hospitals and medical centers to help people in the Nashville area.
Remington College-Nashville Campus is located at 441 Donelson Pike, Suite 150 – MAP.
