DALLAS (March 1, 2018) – Cosmetology professionals looking to increase their knowledge and skills and potentially start their own salon or spa will have a new degree option. Remington College Dallas Campus is now enrolling students in its new Cosmetology Associate Degree Program.

The program is designed to help students prepare for the business side of Cosmetology. To enroll, students must have a current Cosmetology license from the State of Texas. Students can earn an Associates of Arts degree in as few as six months¹ through the convenience of online classes.

Throughout the program, students will receive training to prepare for the business side of Cosmetology. Students who graduate from the Remington College Cosmetology Associate Degree program may be qualified for a number of entry-level positions in the field or to open their own salon or spa.²

According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the need for cosmetologists is expected to grow by 10 percent during the 10-year period from 2016 to 2026; that’s more than 64,000 jobs.
