Remington College Lafayette Campus hosts free car seat safety event
Parents can make sure their children’s car seats are properly installed at the March 28 event
LAFAYETTE, La. (March 20, 2018) – Remington College Lafayette Campus is proud to partner with the Louisiana Passenger Safety Task Force to offer free car seat safety checks from 1 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, March 28, 2018, on the Remington College Lafayette Campus.
Parents can get a free inspection from nationally certified technicians to ensure their children’s car seats are properly installed and that children are in the correct type of seat. The goal of the event is to help reduce serious injuries and fatalities to children if an accident were to occur.
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, “your child’s safety could be in jeopardy if your car seat is not installed correctly.”
The Easter Bunny will also be making an appearance to provide some fun for the kids.
