Remington College Cleveland Campus offers new Facility Maintenance and Technology degree program

New program now enrolling

 CLEVELAND (May 16, 2018) – Remington College Cleveland Campus is expanding its offerings to students with its new Facility Maintenance and Technology Degree Program. Enrollment is now open and classes start soon.
This program provides hands-on training in servicing, maintaining and operating a variety of equipment commonly found in residential and commercial facilities. Students will also learn how to maintain and repair facility infrastructure and mechanical equipment, such as carpentry, electrical, and heating, ventilation and air conditioning.
The degree program typically takes 21 months to complete1 and is designed to prepare students for both entry-level and mid-level positions.2
When students successfully complete all program requirements, graduates will receive an Associate of Occupational Studies Degree in Facility Maintenance and Technology.
The program includes training in:
  • Plumbing
  • Carpentry and Finishing
  • Electrical Systems Maintenance and Troubleshooting
  • OSHA and LEED Guidelines
According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the need for maintenance and repair workers is expected to grow from 2016 to 2026. Increasing home prices and sales drive the demand for this occupation because of the need for remodeling and maintenance work.
