Remington College-Little Rock Campus Provides Education to Help Prepare Students for New Careers

Little Rock, AK – (December 2009) – Remington College-Little Rock Campus offers several programs designed to provide students with the education they need to help prepare them for new careers.  

The Remington College- Little Rock Campus Criminal Justice  program allows students the opportunity to earn an associate’s degree that can help prepare them for a career in law enforcement.

Instruction includes training in corrections, crime scene analysis, evidence handling, safety, criminal prosecution and trials, inmate control, constitutional law, criminology and forensics. Coursework also includes crime scene scenarios that introduce students to the practices and procedures involved in criminal investigations and crime scene preservation.  

According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, job opportunities for those qualified to work as patrol officers, correctional officers, and security guards are expected to grow anywhere from 11% to 16% between 2006 and 2016, depending on the career field.[i]

While no reputable college can guarantee employment after graduation, Remington College-Little Rock Campus has a Career Services Department to assist graduates with their job search, as well as with resume preparation and interviewing skills.
