Remington College-Dallas Campus Receives “2009 School of the Year” Award from NAHP
School recognized for success in preparing students for
healthcare careers
Dallas, Texas – (March 04, 2010) – Remington College-Dallas Campus has been presented with the “2009 School of the Year” award from the National Association of Health Professionals (NAHP).
The NAHP provides healthcare certification testing and credentialing for more than 800 career colleges and schools throughout the U.S.
The group gave the award to the Remington College-Dallas Campus because its students had a 92% pass rate during 2009. 144 students received Certified Medical Assistant status after graduating.
“This award shows that the hard work done by our students and staff is paying off,” said Skip Walls, Remington College–Dallas Campus President. “We’ve helped these students get started on their careers and provided local employers with qualified job applicants in the healthcare field.”
The students who received their Certified Medical Assistant status all graduated from the Remington College Medical Assisting Diploma Program. The program covers patient care, laboratory procedures, therapeutic care, medical insurance and bookkeeping and can be completed in as few as eight months.
